How Many Photos Can I Include in My Wedding Album?

This is a great question, but it doesn't have a simple answer. Your wedding day is filled with countless precious moments that you’ll want to capture in print, but it’s important not to overwhelm your album.

For example, if you choose to feature a stunning image across a two-page spread, and you wish to do this on every page, then 20 images would fill 20 pages. On average, I recommend aiming for between 80 to 120 images in a standard-sized 30x30cm album and also its smaller version of 21x21cm album. However, the final layout will depend on your own album design, so it’s difficult to determine the exact number until the album is created.

Let’s consider another scenario: you might want to include five images on a single spread. However, if every spread were filled with this many images, the album might start to feel more like a scrapbook than a beautifully designed wedding album.

A good rule of thumb is to plan for an average of 1 to 3 images per page side. In a 20-spread album (which consists of 40 individual pages), you could comfortably include around 80 to 120 images.
